What we store in your browser, why, and how you stay in control.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. “Similar technologies” (the browser’s local storage and session storage) do the same job. We use them in line with Romanian Law no. 506/2004 (art. 4(5)) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR): strictly necessary ones needed to provide the service you asked for may be used without consent; all others only after you consent.
The site is operated by ELECTRA S.R.L. (full details in Legal information). How we process personal data in general is explained in the Privacy Policy.
2. What we use on this site

What we do not do: we use no advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data.
The video on the About page. The YouTube video does not load until you press play. Only then is a connection opened to youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube/Google), which may store or read information on your device under Google’s policy. If you do not press play, nothing is sent to YouTube.
3. Your choice: accept, decline, withdraw
- On your first visit a banner appears with two equally prominent buttons: Accept and Decline. Until you choose, neither Google Tag Manager nor Google Analytics is loaded.
- We do not block access to the site, and we do not ask for consent to use the price calculator or send a quote request — declining has no effect on our services.
- You can change your decision at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it; when you decline or withdraw, we also delete the analytics cookies (_ga…) saved earlier in your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing done before.
- Your choice is remembered in your browser (pcbe_cookie_consent); if you clear the site’s data, you will be asked again.
4. How to delete or block cookies in your browser
You can delete saved cookies and block others in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc. — look for “Cookies” or “Site data” in the browser help). If you also block the session cookie PHPSESSID, you will not be able to sign in to the Client Portal. For Google Analytics there is also an official opt-out add-on.
5. Third parties and transfers outside the EU
The third parties that may set cookies or access information on your device are Google (Google Ireland Ltd.; data also processed by Google LLC, USA), for analytics and only with your consent, and YouTube (Google), only after you press play on the video on the About page. Transfers to the USA rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or, if it ceases to be valid, on standard contractual clauses. The site’s fonts and scripts are served from our own server, not from a third party.
6. Legal basis, changes and contact
Strictly necessary cookies: art. 4(6)(b) of Law no. 506/2004 (the exception for storage or access strictly necessary to provide a service you expressly requested) and art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR. Analytics cookies: your consent — art. 4(5) of Law no. 506/2004 and art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
